Si l'on peut apprécier le film, même sans avoir lu ce prélude, il est conseillé de lire cette BD, pour notamment comprendre les motivations de Gamora, l'héroïne brillamment interprété par Zoe Saldana. Les admirateurs de Rocket Raccoon retrouveront également avec plaisir l'un des personnages les plus populaires de l'univers Marvel.
